The BMS Fall Fun Run has been a great activity for BMS families in recent years, usually happening around our annual Fall Festival. Historically, the funds raised through the event went to our AED costs. However, we no longer have recurring costs for our AED, so this year was an opportunity to rethink the role of the Fall Fun Run.
One goal for BMS has been to continue to form new connections throughout the larger Bloomington community. In an effort to increase our outreach, the Fall Fun Run has expanded this year to a public 5K trail run and family run.
The run will happen before our Fall Fest at Fowler Pumkin Patch on October 26, 2024. The Run starts at 9am, followed by Fall Fest at 10am.
Check-in for participants will begin at 8:30, with the 5K trail run starting at 9am and the one or 1.5 mile family fun run routes starting shortly thereafter.
There will be snacks and water at the finish line, and 5K 1st-3rd place winners will receive medals. All participants also receive a great t-shirt designed by BMS parent Adrienne Davis!
Registration is $30. For a guaranteed t-shirt, please register by October 11th. Registration is through RunSignUp.com, and ABTiming will be managing the race.
