Scholarship Program

Bloomington Montessori School (BMS) offers one scholarship each year. This scholarship is intended to serve children who would otherwise be unable to attend BMS due to financial reasons. A scholarship recipient may enter as a three-year-old “youngest-group” student and potentially remain through sixth grade. Scholarships are reassessed and renewed annually based on evidence of continued financial qualification.

Scholarships cover full tuition for the regular academic year as well as summer camp enrollment. Lunch and Elementary Aftercare are not included, but separate free and reduced lunch applications are available.

Applicants will be considered upon submitting a current annual income tax return of household income at or below 200% of the current year’s Poverty Guidelines for the Contiguous States and the District of Columbia (aspe.hhs.gov) with their completed scholarship application. Updated financials must be submitted annually to renew scholarship status.

Scholarship applications for the upcoming school year are available from October 1st to December 31st, though may be accepted later if the scholarship has not been awarded. Applications will be reviewed in January and a decision will usually be communicated by January 31st. A financial agreement reflecting the scholarship offer must be signed and returned within two weeks of the offer.

If you believe you qualify for the scholarship, please complete the following steps:
